Digital Storytelling Week 15 & 16

For these weeks in Digital Storytelling, it was all about completing our final project. I had some trouble coming up with a project to do, but I eventually decided to create a documentary on Penn State Football. Since I was a baby, I was taught two things, 1. To love Penn State Football and 2. To hate Michigan. In 2011, a huge scandal broke regarding Penn State Football. Long time assistant coach, Jerry Sandusky was arrested on sexual abuse charges. It was discovered that Sandusky was sexually assaulted young boys and that Head Coach Joe Paterno, the Athletic Director Tim Curley, and school President Graham Spanier were aware of said events and did not report Sandusky to the police. In the end, Paterno, Curley, and Spanier were all fired and Sandusky was sentenced to 30–60 years in prison. The documentary I created details the events that happened after the scandal broke and how Penn State Football went through a series of down years until the 2016 season. I did the voice overs myself.
