My Final Project for Digital Storytelling

For our final project, our professor allowed us to choose what we want to do and I had a lot of trouble deciding at first. Then I decided to make a video with dance clips from Bollywood songs and an English song in the background. Elements that I had to include in my project:

• Element 1: The mood of the videos match the mood of the song
• Element 2: There are at least 3 different dance clips
• Element 3: Transitions between the clips
• Element 4: No more than two minutes
• Element 5: The music lines up with the dance

I chose this because I am originally from Pakistan and I grew up watching Bollywood movies and my family still watches Bollywood movies together all the time. I got the idea because my younger sister likes dancing and she is always mixing it up. She dances to Indian songs with American dance steps and uses traditional Indian dances on English songs.
